Elon's Texas, in one map.

How to read the map

The state view places each cluster where it is in Texas. Tap one and the map opens a composed scene of that region, built to show what happens at each site rather than drawn to scale. Every building with a label opens a card with 3 or 4 dated facts and a link to the full explainer. The year slider shows the sites as they appeared, from SpaceX's first engine test in McGregor in 2003 to Prufrock-5 arriving in San Antonio in October 2026.

Facts come from the explainers linked on each card, company filings and posts, the Office of the Texas Governor, county records, and local reporting; positions use the public facility addresses. The map covers company sites and the public parts of the Bastrop community, and leaves out private residences. For the companies' sites outside Texas, see the Ventures Map, and for how the companies fit together, Who Owns What.
